Toothbuds Peer Mentoring
The Toothbuds Peer Mentoring Program connects first-year DMD students with upper-year mentors to provide guidance, support, and advice as they navigate the challenges of dental school. The program also supports DMD2 and DMD3 students through their transitions into clinic.
This program fosters a sense of community, promotes professional growth, and helps students build meaningful connections within the DMD cohort.

They work closely with faculty and administration to ensure students' academic concerns are addressed, advocate for improvements, and support their peers in their educational journey.
For every cohort in DMD there are 3 elected representatives, and for BOH there are 2 elected representatives.
